 Map of Kent Kent The cliché as the “Garden of England” was well earned, and comes from the Huguenots* who settled in Kent and set up market gardens to supply the London market. It is impossible to separate Kent from it’s historic place in the development of England. A huge part was played as the main access point to the continent during the Roman and Norman periods
One of England’s more picturesque counties, combined to it’s proximity to London and Calais, makes Kent the most accessible tourist destinations
